For the Love of Food

Welcome to the Shire Ale House! We strive to offer you the freshest food possible, so we shop from local farms and businesses as much as possible. During the summer and early fall, we source much of our produce from local farms. If you are a farmer and interested in working with us, please stop in and say HI! All of our desserts are made here at the Ale House, and so is our Hot Pepper Jelly. Our sauces are made by Captain Mowatt's, a Hot Sauce company out of Portald, Maine. You can order a serving of Captain Mowatt's with your meal, but we sell it by the bottle too.

We also offer catering with or without Alcohol as well as meal planning!
